Empowering Software Engineers Since 2010
History
Founded in 2010 within the Department of Software Engineering at UET Taxila, SOFTDESK has grown from a small student initiative into a leading technical society. For over a decade we've hosted workshops, seminars, and national-level competitions such as the UET Taxila Olympiad, connecting students with academia and industry.
Mission
To empower students with hands-on knowledge of current software technologies, foster collaboration between faculty and students, and provide platforms for professional growth through events, mentorship, and projects.
Vision
To be the prime student-led hub of software innovation at UET Taxila recognized nationally for producing industry-ready graduates, organizing impactful events, and driving technology awareness in academia.
